Robert graduated from Northern Illinois University in 1991 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science-Public Law and a minor in history. He then proceeded to Marquette University School of Law, where he received his J.D. in 1994. Later that same year he was sworn in to the State Bar of Wisconsin and the State Bar of Illinois.

Beginning in 1995, Robert worked for Galvin, Mordini, Schwartz & Meade (later Galvin, Lowery & Meade) as a trial attorney specializing in the defense of personal injury cases. In 1996, Robert was promoted to Supervising Attorney and in 1997 Robert was recognized by the Cook County Jury Verdict Reporter as having tried the most cases during that year.

Robert moved to the law firm of James M. Hoffman and Associates in August of 1999, where he continued his work as a trial attorney. While at this firm, Robert expanded his practice beyond automobile cases to include premises and construction cases and insurance coverage matters. In total, Robert has 37 jury verdicts to his credit and has also successfully prepared numerous dispositive motions.

Robert joined the firm of Judge, James & Kujawa, LLC., in April 2006, where he continues to defend personal injury and wrongful death cases.
